Many Small Pieces, One Big Pyramid: Building a Sierpinski Pyramid

September 2026 · Whole School · STEAM
Our GMIS students built a Sierpinski Pyramid, a famous fractal shape where every pyramid is made of smaller pyramids, and those are made of even smaller ones.
Each student started by building small tetrahedrons with 4D Frame. Then, step by step, they joined their pieces together, four small pyramids becoming one bigger pyramid, again and again, until the giant pyramid stood in the middle of the room. No one could build it alone. It took every student's hands, patience, and teamwork.

Along the way, students discovered geometry, patterns, and spatial thinking, not from a textbook, but with their own hands.
At GMIS, this is how we learn. Through our STEAM program, students explore math and science by building. Through coding classes, they learn to think step by step and solve problems. And through Arduino classes, they bring their ideas to life with real sensors, motors, and robots.

We are preparing our children not just to use technology, but to create with it, and to grow with wisdom and knowledge.
